Jose has over 20 years of experience providing the beat for original bands such as Shoulda-Shot-Yoko and Bucko 5 which he co-founded. He has also grooved with cover bands such as Suns of Earth, Stereotypes and DareDevil Sunday. He has played at major venues throughout the city and burbs as well as festivals such as the Taste of Chicago, Naperville's Rib Fest and Last Fling. Jose draws inspiration not only from famous drummers such as Taylor Hawkins of the Foo Fighters but also from working with local talent like singer Brian Williamson, bass players Tom Assicurato and Bill Krushing and guitar players Ray Ruiz, Al Torres and Owen Cooper. Most importantly he attributes his success and playing longevity to his family, Emily, Amanda and Colin for their endless love and support.
